RONALD STEWARD
Ronald Steward, retired with 32 years of service with the City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities. Working first as a Labor responsible for both sanitary and storm sewer pipe repair and replacement, repair of storm catch basins, inlets and manholes. Worked on telemonitoring and vactor trucks for preventive maintenance of the wastewater collection system to determine sewer pipeline condition. Worked 13 years as Supervisor over the complaint section. This section was responsible for answering calls from the public and private sector pertaining to drainage issues, water in basement and mainline stoppages. Worked 2 years as Assistant Manager over the construction section. Responsible for over $ 20 million in material, supplies, vehicle fleet, small and large excavating equipment, and more than 50 construction section employees.
